白胡椒(Bai Hu Jiao) 是胡椒科植物胡椒(Piper nigrum L.)的成熟果实,经水浸脱皮后干燥而成。性热,味辛,归胃、大肠经,具有温中散寒、健胃助消、行气止痛等功效。常用于寒湿中阻、脘腹冷痛、食欲不振、泄泻不止等情况的辅助调理。
Bai Hu Jiao, or White Pepper (Fructus Piperis), is the dried ripe fruit of Piper nigrum with the outer skin removed. Pungent and warming in nature, it enters the Stomach and Large Intestine meridians, and is traditionally used to warm the middle burner, disperse cold, aid digestion, and relieve abdominal pain. It is commonly included in formulas for cold-induced digestive disorders and dampness-related stagnation.
